F02+ Gastronomie in de Ardèche
A culinary week in the Ardèche: cook with local products, meet French artisans, taste regional delicacies, and enjoy group activities combined with adventurous outings.
€ 889
Period: 10/07/2026 – 19/07/2026
In these culinary workshops, you get to cook yourself and discover the flavors of the Ardèche. Using local products, we prepare dishes such as soupe au pistou, goat cheese feuilleté and madeleines. We visit a French bakery and an artisan butcher, and uncover the secret behind the famous Ardèche nougat — ending of course with a delicious tasting.
After all these culinary experiences, we head underground to explore the caves of Aven d’Orgnac and wrap up the week with an outdoor escape game that challenges both creativity and teamwork.
On language camp at the Maison des Astars!
In Villeneuve-de-Berg we stay in a super cool historic place with a pool, terrace and even an outdoor kitchen. You’ll share comfy rooms with your own bathroom. Days are filled with language workshops and fun activities, evenings with chilling together, outdoor meals and pool time. The perfect summer vibe!
We’re staying in the heart of Villeneuve-de-Berg, a charming little town of 3,200 inhabitants that truly comes alive in summer.
Meeting the locals is easy here, especially on market day (Wednesday) and during the many festive events. On summer evenings, the Mardi Villeneuvois, a lively night market, adds even more atmosphere.
The townspeople always welcome us with open arms. Swapping a pancake or cotton candy for a friendly chat? They love it! And during our excursions to places like Vallon-Pont-d’Arc and Avignon, fun conversations with locals are always part of the adventure.
At CLIP, learning a language isn’t about boring lessons, but about action, variety and above all, fun. From the moment the bus leaves, we kick off with creative group activities that bring everyone together and help overcome the fear of speaking French. Through games, movement and creativity, learning French becomes natural and enjoyable.
We focus on daring to speak: making mistakes is allowed, because that’s how you grow. The group’s energy and the guidance provided create a safe environment where everyone feels comfortable joining in. Language, fun and friendship blend into an experience you’ll never forget.
We leave together by bus on Friday evening, with departures from Leuven (8:00 pm), Groot-Bijgaarden (8:45 pm) or Ghent Dampoort (9:30 pm). We return on Sunday morning to Leuven (8:00 am), Groot-Bijgaarden (8:45 am) and Ghent Dampoort (9:30 am).
The price includes transport, accommodation and the program, but excludes breakfast on the first morning (lunch during departure on Black Saturday) and personal expenses.
For the return trip, arrival is scheduled on Sunday morning in Leuven (8:00), Groot-Bijgaarden (8:45), and Ghent-Dampoort (9:30).
PLEASE NOTE: On 1/8, coaches carrying children are not allowed to travel through France. Departure is therefore exceptionally scheduled for Friday morning (due to heavy traffic on the French motorways). The departure times will then be as follows: Leuven at 8:00, Groot-Bijgaarden at 8:45 and Gent-Dampoort at 9:30.
To make sure you don’t forget anything, we’ve listed everything in this handy packing list.
No worries: we’ll also send you all the practical info by email before you leave!
