In Wégimont, learning French becomes fun and real through creative tasks and exciting activities, always supervised by our monitors. Beyond the castle atmosphere, enjoy sports and games with a pool, rowing pond, mini-golf and themed challenges. Excursions take you to Verviers for language discovery and laser shooting, and to Chaudfontaine for an adventure in bunkers and tunnels. Evenings bring campfire vibes with music and marshmallows. Make your camp unique by choosing an extra option: Chatel’eau (pool, pond, water games), Mysteries in the Castle (codes, puzzles, treasure hunt) or Wégimont XL-games (giant Cluedo and life-size table football).

The Château de Wégimont (Chaussée de Wégimont 76, 4630 Soumagne – Province of Liège) is the perfect location for an unforgettable camp. This stunning Mosan Renaissance castle is set in a 22-hectare park, full of atmosphere and adventure.

You’ll stay in rooms for 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 people. Fun icebreaker activities help everyone choose their own roommates, making it easy to feel at home.

In the beautiful vaulted dining hall, the kitchen team serves tasty, varied meals every day: a full breakfast buffet, a three-course lunch, and in the evening a warm dish with dessert.

The Château de Wégimont (Chaussée de Wégimont 76, 4630 Soumagne – Province of Liège) is located in Soumagne, Wallonia, and is part of the Wégimont Estate. This 22-hectare domain combines a historic castle with a leisure park.

It is situated just 20 km from Liège.

Around the castle you’ll find a large park with ponds, forests and open green spaces, perfect for walks, games and sports activities.

The estate itself offers plenty of facilities: an outdoor swimming pool with slides, a boating pond, playgrounds, sports fields and mini-golf.

The castle, built in Mosan Renaissance style, forms the heart of the domain and gives the entire place a fairytale atmosphere.

Wégimont is “the place to be” for beginners.

The approach is practical and visual: placemats on the table show useful vocabulary and phrases for mealtimes, and the daily schedule is displayed in French with fun drawings. Youngsters are encouraged to speak French as much as possible with positive feedback and motivation. Every day, they can earn CLIPPERTJES, and small gifts or funny challenges from the monitors reward their efforts.

Speaking Dutch is allowed to lower the barrier, except when it comes to basic vocabulary that participants already know. Throughout the week, the bar is gradually raised. And it works – the kids are super enthusiastic!

We leave together by bus on Saturday morning, with departures from Ghent Dampoort (9:30 am), Groot-Bijgaarden (10:15 am) and Leuven (11:00 am), arriving in Wégimont at 1:00 pm.

We return together on Saturday afternoon: Leuven (4:00 pm), Groot-Bijgaarden (5:00 pm) and Ghent Dampoort (5:30 pm).

The price includes transport, accommodation and the program, but excludes breakfast on the first morning (lunch is provided during departure on “Black Saturday”) as well as personal expenses.

Good to know: participants up to 13 years old receive a tax certificate for participation.
