Language holiday in a wonderful ski area

During this camp, you’ll have the freedom to ski or snowboard without direct supervision. Clear agreements are made, and we always meet up again at lunchtime.

Many ski (and language) programs are limited to a single mountain with restricted skiing opportunities. CLIP takes full advantage of this amazing ski area (1200 km of slopes) for this language camp.

During the Carnival holidays, we go for a 6-day ski pass. At Easter, we choose a 7-day pass.

We first head to Kronplatz and Sella Ronda, where we ski and snowboard for three/four days. But that’s far from everything! On the remaining days, we explore [Vals – Meranzen](Vals – Meranzen) or Plose (Only during the Carnival break do we add an extra stop at Plose; this does not happen at Easter.): two charming areas with great sunshine and equally impressive runs.

Modern hotel with delicious Italian cuisine

Pension Sonnenhof in Raas is a beautiful youth accommodation with spacious rooms (3 to 6 people), modern in-room sanitary facilities, and an extensive hall infrastructure. It is centrally located in South Tyrol.

The formula includes full board:

• In the morning, a generous breakfast buffet

• A picnic and afternoon snack to take along on the slopes

• In the evening, we sit down for a four-course dinner. After an extensive salad buffet and a starter (pasta, cheese croquettes, lasagna, soup, risotto…), a freshly prepared main course is served. The meal is rounded off with a delicious dessert: apfelstrudel, tiramisu, pastry, ice cream…

Our base is Pension Sonnenhof (Raas-Moosweg 4, I-39040 Natz-Schabs) in South Tyrol:
a cozy, group-friendly guesthouse in a quiet location—perfect for unwinding after a day of snow, language, and fun. Comfortable rooms, a spacious dining hall, and snug common areas make it ideal for CLIP activities, briefings, and evening animation. Thanks to its location, we can easily reach the slopes and the charming nearby villages.

French Immersion on Language Holiday

Here we focus on fluency in French (for the youngest group) and on accuracy in language use (for the oldest group). Naturally, French is the language spoken from the moment you wake up until bedtime. Everyone agrees this is the method that delivers the best results.

On the bus to and from the slopes, we do language activities — like the famous “Bus Boum Boum”! In the afternoon, we take time for a one-hour language workshop right on the snow. Ever heard of “Snowboard Bis” or “Avalanche”?

In the evening, we come together to enjoy a nice meal and take part in fun activities at the hotel.

The highlight of the week is the Kronplatz Express. After a day full of mysterious riddles on and around the slopes, we set off in the evening on a night hike or torchlight quest. Who will be the first to find the way back?

Optionally, participants can also go tobogganing (supplement to be paid on site).
