Language camp in a fantastic ski area
By day you get ski or snowboard coaching in French from our own leaders. They aim for a smart balance between drills and exploring the terrain. Many ski (and language) programs stick to one mountain with limited runs; CLIP unlocks the full 1,200 km of this amazing region for this camp. During the Carnival break we use a 6-day ski pass; at Easter a 7-day pass. We start at Kronplatz and Sella Ronda for three to four days of skiing/riding. But that’s not all: on the remaining days we head to Vals–Meransen (Maranza) or Plose (Only during the Carnival break do we add an extra stop at Plose; this does not happen at Easter.)—two charming areas with great sunshine and equally great descents.

Pension Sonnenhof in Raas is a beautiful youth accommodation with spacious rooms (3 to 6 people), modern en-suite bathrooms and very extensive hall facilities, centrally located in South Tyrol between Kronplatz and Sella Ronda.

In the evening, we sit down to a four-course dinner. After an extensive salad buffet and a starter (pasta, cheese croquettes, lasagna, soup, risotto…), a freshly prepared main course is served. We finish the meal with a delicious dessert: apple strudel, tiramisu, cake, ice cream…

Our base is Pension Sonnenhof (Raas-Moosweg 4, I-39040 Natz-Schabs) in South Tyrol: a cozy, group-friendly guesthouse in a quiet location—perfect for unwinding after a day of snow, language, and fun. Comfortable rooms, a spacious dining hall, and snug common areas make it ideal for CLIP activities, briefings, and evening animation. French immersion on a language holiday
Here we focus on fluency (younger group) and accurate usage (older group). French is, of course, the language of the day from wake-up to lights-out. Everyone agrees this yields the best results.

In the language workshops, you’ll work actively with theatre, French music, debates, vocabulary games, and common mistakes… Variety and movement are built into the formula. In this whirlwind of French, learning becomes a pleasure—the organization’s hallmark.

On the bus to and from the slopes, we run language animation, for example with the “Bus Boum Boum.” In the afternoon we make time for one hour of on-slope language workshop. Ever heard of “Snowboard Bis” or “Avalanche”? In the evening we organize activities at the hotel.

The top of the bill is the Kronplatz Express. After a day of mysterious riddles on and around the slopes, we head out in the evening for a night drop/torchlight quest. Who will find the way back first?
