Palace Farm Hostel and Campsite in Doddington-Kent. We stay in spacious rooms from four to eight people, with separate bathrooms. Cozy and an ideal base for a fantastic week. We stay here on full board!
The renowned CLIP kitchen guarantees quality meals that young people find very tasty. From breakfast to the 3-course evening meal, our kitchen team conjures up varied meals every day!
The week will end festively with a barbecue.
The main language during this language holiday is English. In the language animation formula, we work mainly on fluency.
With awesome teambuilding activities, we overcome the initial hesitation to speak English. The positive comments and rewards at the end of the week - for both group and individual participants - are an extra stimulus.
Every 45 minutes you get to work with a different tutor in an active way on drama, English music, street interviews, debates, vocabulary games, video... The names of the language workshops speak for themselves: Sea Battle, Grammonster, Bucket List... Frequently we literally dive into the sea for an activity and have a real language bath there... Parks, beaches and the hotel are the settings for our language workshops.
Variety and movement are rooted in this formula. Learning becomes fun in this language swirl. It's the organization's trademark!
We often hit the streets to contact locals. The friendly Brits are immediately willing to help and have a chat.
12-year-olds are also welcome here. Please give us a call.
The hotel is a base for excursions in the County of Kent where fun and varied language practice with the locals go hand in hand.
Canterbury we make unsafe with a city game, truly citybound.
We also trek a day to medieval Faversham for the weekly market and explore the town on the Faversham Express.
At Leeds Castle, we get lost in a life-size labyrinth and imagine ourselves landlords and ladies as we go on a quest around the vast grounds. and have a great time during a game of miniature golf. The highlight of the day is undoubtedly the falconry show!
The CLIPteam provides a well-filled and sporty entertainment program. We search for a lost painting, play an interactive city game, play sports on the many lawns surrounding our stay. In the evening we quiz, dance and relax during "Finding Banksy" or "Wifi in Tahiti". A cozy campfire in the garden with marshmallows is definitely not to be missed!
