Highlights

Just give us Thailand ...

Who wouldn't want to go to Thailand for an exciting and cultural English tour ...?! During this language vacation you will explore the wonderful North Thailand in a small group with 2 leaders. We start and end the trip in the metropolis Bangkok, where we have fun on a bicycle tour and visit Thailand's most famous river market.

We will also visit the ancient capital of Ayutthaya, where we will be amazed by the beauty of its ancient temples and ruins. Finally, we spend a few days in Chiang Mai, where we make time for some optional activities. Are you looking forward to it too?

Thai hospitality

Thai hospitality is a known concept. Everywhere we are received warmly. This is certainly the case in the hotels. We stay in double and triple rooms in nice to downright luxurious hotels. The swimming pool at the hotel provides welcome refreshment in the tropical climate.

Explosive Thai flavors

We have breakfast at the hotel each time. The breakfast buffets sometimes seem to have no end. In addition to a European/American cold and hot section, there is also an Asian buffet for those who dare. Ever scooped noodles or sushi onto your breakfast plate!? In addition, 6 meals are included. In the afternoon and evening, we discover the vast Thai palette of tastes and smells. We eat in the small restaurants or local markets at unbeatable prices. For 5 to 10 euros you can eat heavenly food here. Fresh ingredients are flavored with coconut milk, lime, coriander, lemongrass, chili pepper ... An explosion in the mouth! How about green curry with chicken, noodle soup with shrimp or steamed fish in a banana leaf. And if you want it a little less "spicy," it's best to ask in advance!

Into the people

The CLIP formula in Thailand is not a "hop on hop off" concept where we get off the bus, take a picture and hop, on to the next place. We do take an entire round trip to get an idea of the country's beauty, nature, people and their culture. CLIP adds its own touches to the trip. This means that we provide both the English language program and group activities. Everywhere we look for local people. This is the common thread of the trip. An example? We take the night train with locals from Chiang Mai to Bangkok, taste tasty food at local stalls and do an entertainment for local school youth. You only experience this with CLIP.

Language perfection English

With CLIP, you go on a world trip to put the language into practice. This principle certainly applies to Thailand. Learning English here really happens on the road. The facilitator is a "traveling teacher" who regularly pulls a fun language activity out of his backpack. This boosts the group atmosphere. How about 'De Slimste Mens' on Thailand or 'Drie Wijzen' or 'Temptation Island' during the bus ride!? Moreover, we leave no stone unturned to make contacts with the locals. Each conversation session ends with a correction of the most common mistakes. In this way we join the useful to the appealing. Of course, such a trip only makes sense if you are also determined to speak English continuously.

Thai exploration

The tour begins and ends in Bangkok, Thailand's busiest metropolis. We explore the city on a tour by bicycle and via a Bangkok Express by boat. We visit the beautiful Royal Palace in the Old City, stroll around the weekend market, soak up the Chinese atmosphere in Chinatown, also get to know the Western side of the metropolis and explore the Maeklong market from here, which can suddenly disappear, when a train passes.

In the evening we embark for a boat ride and karaoke night. Then we depart for Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand. In the evening we see the temples "by night" from our tuktuks. Gradually we move further north. We pass in Phitsanulok where we admire the giant Buddhas. The landscape gradually becomes more rugged.

Adventure highlight of the trip is the visit to an elephant care center near Chiang Mai. Here we get to help take care of the young and old elephants: bathe with them and feed them. Quite an experience!

A raft ride, a splash at the waterfalls and a visit to the mountain tribes are not to be missed! In Thailand, we participate in a social project. We stop at a local school where we give an animation for the local children. Bet you'll want to stay afterwards!

In Chiang Mai, we will learn about local crafts: silk production, painting on parasols and a visit to an orchid farm. We visit one last temple and board the sleeper train to Bangkok.

Couleur locale is assured! Back in Bangkok, there is time for an activity of your choice (not included). How about thai boxing, a cooking workshop or a massage!? The emphasis of the program is on experience and unique experiences!
