Highlights

In Naussac you set the accents of your camp yourself. You can go for several hours of sailing or opt for adventurous events (mountain biking, paddle boarding, altitude trail ...). This all takes place on 'Le lac de Naussac' or in its beautiful surroundings.

13-15-year-olds work on language fluency here: integrating new vocabulary and gaining confidence to speak. 16-18-year-olds focus on correct language use and the perfection of their French.

Sporty language animations are alternated with adventurous events such as a kayak trip, a paintball session and a bivouac. We also get a taste of French culture with visits to idyllic Sainte-Enimie and Le Puy-en-Velay.

Separate formula for 17-18 year olds

Again and again Naussac attracts a good number of older participants. They take part in the language workshops and animations of the 16-year-olds. In the evening, however, they are allowed to stay up longer on the terrace (at the latest until midnight), they do an "activité 17+" or have a drink with the camp's leaders....

Modern lodging: Le Lycée Sacré-Coeur

We are staying at the Lycée Sacré-Coeur (Langogne). Normally CLIP doesn't stay in school buildings, but we are happy to make an exception with this modern school.

CLIP transforms the domain into a  holiday wonderland with garden tables, brightly colored umbrellas and outdoor lounges, a petanque court, ping-pong tables, tabletop soccer, barbecue and a fire basket...  One cannot but admit it. In summer, the school spirit is nowhere to be found. You'll feel quickly at home here.

A true CLIP kitchen

The CLIPteam cooks our own meals. On the breakfast buffet you can find bread, cereals, jam, choco, yogurt, cold cuts, cheeses, (chocolate) milk, fruit juice, coffee and tea. Every morning there also is something special available. At noon, CLIP provides a salad bar with a hot dish (quiche, croques, ...). In the evening, a three-course menu is served.

How about the following "map":

- Appetizer: fresh yellow pepper soup, cantaloupe with smoked ham, homemade spring rolls....
- Main course: various pastas, BBQ, homemade pizza, marinated chicken with French fries....
- Dessert: fresh fruit salad, apple pie with ice cream, tiramisu.....

French contacts à volonté

Our camp house is located in the center of Langogne, a not insignificant town in the Cevennes in the south of France (Massif Central, 913 meters). With its 3100 inhabitants, interesting contacts are always within easy reach. During the excursion to le Puy-en-Velay and Sainte-Enimie there is time for nice talks with the locals as well.

Language animation and perfection at language camp

At this language camp we work on language fluency and correct language use. French is of course the spoken language from rising to bedtime. It is widely accepted that this method produces the best results.

You learn a foreign language best in the most pleasant circumstances.  How can we guarantee varied and active language animation? Language workshops are the answer.

During 4 blocks of 45′, you will, each time with a different leader, work in an active way on drama, French music, debates, vocabulary games, video, common mistakes....

Variation and movement are always built-in. As a matter of fact, the organization's trademark is: LEARNING BECOMES A PLEASURE.

An example: we organize a language variant of the popular board game Jungle Speed. When you get two cards that belong to the same theme, you have to try to grab the totem in the middle of the table as quickly as possible. Hilarity guaranteed! To the leader, this is a listening and speaking exercise. To the participants, this is a game. The names of the language workshops speak for themselves: Les couples parfaits, Clip speed, Mon plus beau miroir....

With super fun teambuilding activities (starting on the bus) we overcome the fear of speaking French. Everything is done to bring about the openness of the participants. The positive comments and challenges with rewards at the end of the week - both for the group and the individual participant - are an extra incentive. When you feel good, you also feel more like speaking French.

In Naussac, Belgian tutors work together with French colleagues which creates a unique atmosphere that makes you feel good as a participant while you learn a lot at the same time.

Le Puy and Sainte-Enimie

On each weekly program there are several excursions, where we raise excitement and action. Here we go for a purebred game of paintball. Aim your sights and fire away!

On Saturday we visit the market in Le Puy-en-Velay. Here we enjoy contacts with the locals as much as we can. On another day we go to picturesque Sainte-Enimie for a town activity. After the picnic, we stop for an adventurous kayak descent through the Gorges du Tarn.

The bivouac, on  a delightful location with a breathtaking view, really boosts the group spirit. And who knows, you might even see a shooting star!

Impressive animations

After the language workshops, excursions and personal options (sailing or adventure), the leaders are always ready to provide top entertainment. Every year we renew the formulas; the rock-solid formats remain but are implemented in a slightly different way.

Every afternoon and evening there is some free time after dinner. During that time you can use the sports infrastructure, table soccer, board games, a guitar and a sound system.

In the evening, we wipe off the mud splashes and indulge ourselves during a Soirée entre amis or put on our finest outfit to be entertained in style during the casino and on the gala evening, dance party included.

You can choose a part of your own afternoon animation: sailing or adventure (5x 2 hours)

Option 1: sailing (catamaran, subject to supplement)

Sailing at its best: those who really want to learn something in the field of sailing are in the right place here. French sailing instructors from la Fédération Française de Voile give training (5 x 2-hour lessons) to both novice and advanced sailors. You share your boat with one or two other participants. At the beginning of the lesson, you prepare your boat for sailing. You hoist the jib and mainsail and set course for the opposite bank. Through various exercises you learn to turn into and against the wind, gain speed and even learn to tack. Introductory sailing vocabulary is also included.

Option 2: adventure

We offer a mix of adventurous activities that take full advantage of the region's beautiful nature. You start the week with an afternoon on the tree trail next to the lake and afterwards you are challenged by a VVT-course that runs around it. If those two endeavors still aren't enough for you,  you can always  burn off some superabundant energy on a session of paddle boarding or on the interactive hike. An active and challenging program for real daredevils.
